This is me and Joey sluttin it up in Prague for New Years 2009, which was probably the best New Years’ Eve I ever had. We stayed in Prague for a week— a city, by the way, where beer is something like 50 cents a pint, and legal to drink casually during your transit— and generally took in the sights. It was cold as hell, but somehow that didn’t matter because we were having such a good time.
I hated Joey when I first met him but I softened up because I found out he had a Titanium PowerBook, and a 17 inch one to boot. (Yes, you fucking heard me— I literally changed my mind about a person because he had an expensive computer, but keep in mind this is when Macs were still special and almost cult-like, right before you ever heard discussions about buying toddlers iPads.) He bought me a candy bar in 2008 and he hasn’t been able to get rid of me yet.
